The Transfiguration
1 I tell you truly," he said, to them, "there are some of those standing here who will not taste death till they see the coming of God's Reign with power." 2 Six days afterwards Jesus took Peter, James and John, and led them up a high hill by themselves alone; in their presence he was transfigured, 3 and his clothes glistened white, vivid white, such as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
