Now John himself had
a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.
2 Kings 1:8
answered him, “ He was a hairy man with a leather girdle bound about his loins.” And he said, “It is Elijah the Tishbite.”
at that time the Lord spoke through
Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, “Go and loosen the sackcloth from your hips and take your shoes off your feet.” And he did so, going naked and barefoot.
Also it will come about in that day that the prophets will each be
ashamed of his vision when he prophesies, and they will not put on a hairy robe in order to deceive;

hungry and thirsty, and are poorly clothed, and are roughly treated, and are homeless;

I have been in
