The Reason For The Parables

¹⁰ And the disciples came and said to him: "Why dost thou speak to them in parables? ¹¹ He answered, and said to them: Because it is given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven; but to them it is not given. ¹² For whoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have abundance; but whoever has not, even that which he has shall be taken from him.
