The Parable Of The Weeds Interpreted

³⁶ He then left the crowds and went into the house. [While there] His disciples came to Him, and said, "Explain to us [the meaning of] the parable of the weeds in the field." ³⁷ And He answered them, "The person who planted the good seed is the Son of man, ³⁸ and the field [represents] the world. The good seed [represents] the children who belong to the kingdom, and the weeds [represent] the children who belong to the evil one [i.e., the devil].
