Pharaoh’s birthday, that he made a feast for all his servants; and he lifted up the head of the chief cupbearer and the head of the chief baker among his servants.
in those days as King Ahasuerus
sat on his royal throne which was at the citadel in Susa,
the king gave a great banquet, Esther’s banquet, for all his princes and his servants; he also made a holiday for the provinces and gave gifts according to the king’s bounty.
Belshazzar the king
held a great feast for a thousand of his nobles, and he was drinking wine in the presence of the thousand.
On that day I will
break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.”
A strategic day came when Herod on his birthday
gave a banquet for his lords and military commanders and the leading men of Galilee;

Herodias herself came in and danced, she pleased Herod and his dinner guests; and the king said to the girl, “Ask me for whatever you want and I will give it to you.”
