Some Sadducees (who say that there is no resurrection) *came to Jesus, and began questioning Him, saying,
Now there came to Him some of the Sadducees (who say that there is no resurrection),
But when he saw many of the
Pharisees and Sadducees coming for baptism, he said to them, “You brood of vipers, who warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
And Jesus said to them,
“Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”
As they were speaking to the people, the priests and
the captain of the temple guard and the Sadducees came up to them,
But the high priest rose up, along with all his associates (that is
the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with jealousy.
But perceiving that one group were
Sadducees and the other Pharisees, Paul began crying out in the Council, “ Brethren, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees; I am on trial for the hope and resurrection of the dead!”
1 Corinthians 15:12
Now if Christ is preached, that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there
is no resurrection of the dead?
2 Timothy 2:18
men who have gone astray from the truth saying that
the resurrection has already taken place, and they upset the faith of some.
Then Judah said to Onan, “
Go in to your brother’s wife, and perform your duty as a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother.”
the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor an angel, nor a spirit, but the Pharisees acknowledge them all.
