Jesus Predicts Their Punishment

³² And you will fill up the measure that your fathers filled. ³³ You serpents! you brood of vipers! how can you escape being sentenced to Gehenna? ³⁴ This is why I will send you prophets, wise men, and scribes, some of whom you will kill and crucify, some of whom you will flog in your synagogues and persecute from town to town;
