Matthew 26:40

Then he went to the disciples and found them asleep; and he said to Peter, "So the three of you could not watch with me for a single hour?

As the bridegroom was long of coming, they all grew drowsy and went to sleep.

Peter said to him, "Even though I have to die with you, I will never disown you." And all the disciples said the same thing.

And when he returned he found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.

he said to them, "My heart is sad, sad even to death; stay here and watch with me."

Then he came and found them asleep; so he said to Peter, "Are you sleeping, Simon? Could you not watch for a single hour?

Now Peter and his companions had been overpowered with sleep, but on waking up they saw his glory and the two men who were standing beside him.

Then rising from prayer he went to the disciples, only to find them asleep from sheer sorrow.

And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them asleep, and saith unto Peter, What, could ye not watch with me one hour?

Take care, keep awake and pray; you never know the time.

So let anyone who thinks he stands secure, take care in case he falls.
