And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”

Again He went away and prayed, saying the same words.

For we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been tempted in all things as we are, yet without sin.

In the days of His flesh,

He offered up both prayers and supplications with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His piety.
