Matthew 26:71

When he went out to the gateway another maidservant noticed him and said to those who were there, "This fellow was with Jesus the Nazarene."

But he denied it. "I do not know," he said, "I have no idea what you mean." Then he went outside into the passage. The cock crowed.

Shortly afterwards another man noticed him and said, "Why, you are one of them!" "Man," said Peter, "I am not."

They asked him, "Are you not one of his disciples?" He denied it, saying, "No,"
