Then the guard and the chiliarch and the officers of the Jews apprehended Jesus, and bound him,

and asked of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of that way, he might bring them bound, men and women, to Jerusalem.

And when Herod was about to bring him forward, on that night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and guards kept watch before the door.

Then the chiliarch approaching took him, and commanded him to be bound with two chains, and inquired who he was and what he had done.

But when they extended him with cords, he said to the centurion standing by, Is it lawful for you to scourge a man, a Roman, and uncondemned?

But after two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus; and wishing to gratify the Jews, Felix left Paul bound.

in which I suffer even to chains as an evil doer; but the word of God is not bound.

Remember those bound as bound with them, and those injured as being yourselves also in the body.
