³ Then Judas, who betrayed Him, seeing that He was condemned, repenting, brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the high priests and the elders, ⁴ saying, "I sinned, having betrayed innocent blood." But they said, "What is that to us? You may see to that." ⁵ And, throwing the pieces of silver into the temple, he withdrew; and, going away, he hanged himself.
