Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

It was the

third hour when they crucified Him.

It was now about

the sixth hour, and darkness fell over the whole land until the ninth hour,

“I clothe the heavens with blackness
And make sackcloth their covering.”

“Be appalled, O heavens, at this,
And shudder, be very desolate,” declares the Lord.

But Jesus answered, “I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!”
