Jesus Calls His First Disciples

¹⁷ From that time, Jesus began to proclaim, and to say, "Repent. For the Kingdom of Heaven is near." ¹⁸ And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers: Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew, his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. ¹⁹ And he said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men."
