⁶ said to him, "If you are God's son, throw yourself down; for it is written, He will give his angels charge of you; they will bear you on their hands, lest you strike your foot against a stone." ⁷ Jesus said to him, "It is written again, You shall not tempt the Lord your God." ⁸ Once more the devil conveyed him to an exceedingly high mountain and showed him all the realms of the world and their grandeur;
