¹³ You are the salt of the earth. If its taste goes away, how will you restore it? It is good for nothing. All you can do is throw it on the ground and walk on it. ¹⁴ “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; ¹⁵ A light is not placed under a cover. To the contrary, it is placed on a table so all may see.
