By faith Abel offered to God a greater sacrifice than Cain, through which he was declared to be righteous, God testifying to his gifts, and through the same, having died, he speaks still.

not as Cain was of the evil one and killed his brother; and why did he kill him? because his works were evil, and his brother's righteous.


Woe to them; for they have gone in the way of Cain, and rushed into the error of Balaam for a reward, and perished in the contradiction of Korah.

But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and asked him, saying, Dismiss her, for she cries after us.
