And behold, two blind men sitting by the roadside, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!" The crowd rebuked them, telling them to be quiet; but they cried out all the more, "Lord, have mercy on us, Son of David!"

"What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?" They said to him, "The son of David."

And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!" Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"

They told him, "Jesus of Nazareth is passing by."

And those who led the way rebuked him, telling him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, "Son of David, have mercy on me!"

And after he had removed him, he raised up David to be their king; concerning whom he testified and said, 'I have found in David the son of Jesse a man after my heart, who will do all my will.'
