54 Increase the inheritance for a large tribe and decrease it for a small one. Each is to be given its inheritance according to those who were registered in it.
54 The more there are in number, you are to increase their inheritance, and the less there are in number, you are to decrease their inheritance. You are to provide an inheritance to each based on the size of their family,
55 But by lot shall the land be divided; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers, they shall inherit
55 But the land shall be (AG)divided by lot. They shall (v)receive their inheritance according to the names of the tribes of their fathers.
55 Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.

57 (AH)These are those who were numbered of the Levites according to their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
57 And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
57 These were the Levites registered by their clans:the Gershonite clan from Gershon;the Kohathite clan from Kohath;the Merarite clan from Merari.

58 These the families of Levi: the families of the Libnites, the families of the Hebronites, the families of the Mahlites, the families of the Mushites, the families of the Korathites: and Kohath begat Amram.

59 And the name of Amram's wife, Jochebed, daughter of Levi, who bare her to Levi in Egypt: and she will bear to Amram, Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.

62 And they being reviewed will be three and twenty thousand, every male from the son of a month and above: for they were not reviewed in the midst of the sons of Israel, for an inheritance was not given to them in the midst of the sons of Israel.
62 Those who were numbered of them were (AM)23,000, every male from a month old and upward, for (AN)they were not numbered among the sons of Israel (AO)since no inheritance was given to them among the sons of Israel.
62 And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
62 Those registered were 23,000, every male one month old or more; they were not registered among the other Israelites, because no inheritance was given to them among the Israelites.
62 All of those individuals numbered 23,000. No male from the age of a month and above was numbered among the Israelis because no inheritance was to be assigned to them among the Israelis.
63 These the reviewings of Moses and Eleazar the priest, who reviewed the sons of Israel in the desert of Moab, by Jordan of Jericho.
