Purification After Battle

²² Only the gold and the silver, the bronze, the iron, the tin, and the lead, ²³ everything that can stand the fire, you shall make go through the fire, and it shall be clean. Only it shall be purified with the water of separation. And all that cannot stand the fire you shall make go through the water. ²⁴ And you shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and you shall be clean, and afterwards you shall come into the camp.

Numbers 19:9

And a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer, and lay them up outside the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the sons of Israel for a water of separation. It is a cleansing for sin.
