Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:
Put out of the camp
He shall remain unclean all the days during which he has the infection; he is unclean. He shall live alone; his dwelling shall be
outside the camp.
Be careful against an infection of leprosy, that you diligently observe and do according to all that the Levitical priests teach you; as I have commanded them, so you shall be careful to do.
2 Kings 7:3
Now there were four
leprous men at the entrance of the gate; and they said to one another, “Why do we sit here until we die?
“Speak to the sons of Israel, and say to them, ‘
When any man has a discharge from his body, his discharge is unclean.
But there were some men who were
unclean because of the dead person, so that they could not observe Passover on that day; so they came before Moses and Aaron on that day.
The one who touches the corpse of any person shall be unclean for seven days.
And you, camp outside the camp seven days; whoever has killed any person and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves, you and your captives, on the third day and on the seventh day.
Then the Lord said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them:‘
No one shall defile himself for a dead person among his people,
If there is among you any man who is unclean because of a nocturnal emission, then he must go outside the camp; he may not reenter the camp.
Then Haggai said, “
If one who is unclean from a corpse touches any of these, will the latter become unclean?” And the priests answered, “It will become unclean.”
