For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

share with me in my affliction.

branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree,
contributing to the needs of the saints, practicing hospitality.
Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.

For we have become partakers of Christ,
if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end,
