Support For Paul's Ministry
10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at length your care for me has revived again; in this, indeed, you had me in mind, but you lacked opportunity.
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at last (Q)you have revived your concern for me; indeed, you were concerned before, but you lacked opportunity.
10 I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that once again(L) you renewed your care for me.(M) You were, in fact, concerned about me but lacked the opportunity to show it.
10 Now I rejoice in the Lord greatly, because once again you have shown your concern for me. Of course, you were concerned for me but you did not have an opportunity to show it.
11 I do not speak in respect to want: for I have learned, in whatever condition I am, to be content.
11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
11 Not that I speak (g)from want, for I have learned to be (h)(R)content in whatever circumstances I am.
11 I don’t say this out of need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.
11 I am not saying this because I am in any need, for I have learned to be content in whatever situation I am in.
12 I know what it is to be in want, and what it is to have abundance. Everywhere and in all things, I have been fully instructed in being full and in being hungry, in having abundance and in being in want.
12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going (S)hungry, both of having abundance and (T)suffering need.
12 I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot.(N) In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content—whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need.
12 I know how to be humble, and I know how to prosper. In each and every situation I have learned the secret of being full and of going hungry, of having too much and of having too little.
15 Now you Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church contributed to me so that I kept an account of giving and receiving, but you only.
15 Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
15 You yourselves also know, Philippians, that at the (j)(W)first preaching of the gospel, after I left (X)Macedonia, no church (Y)shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you alone;
15 And you Philippians(P) know that in the early days of the gospel,(Q) when I left Macedonia,(R) no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone.
15 You Philippians also know that in the early days of the gospel, when I left Macedonia, no church participated with me in the matter of giving and receiving except for you.
17 Not that I seek a gift; but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
17 (AA)Not that I seek the gift itself, but I seek for the (k)profit which increases to your account.
17 It is not that I am looking for a gift. No, I want to see that you receive the fruit that increases to your benefit.
18 But I have all, and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus your gifts, a sweet odor, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.
18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
18 But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; I am (l)amply supplied, having received from (AB)Epaphroditus (m)what you have sent, (n)(AC)a fragrant aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.
18 But I have received everything in full,(V) and I have an abundance. I am fully supplied, having received from Epaphroditus(W) what you provided—a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, pleasing(X) to God.
18 I have been paid in full and have more than enough. I am fully supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus what you sent a fragrant aroma, a sacrifice acceptable and pleasing to God.
19 But my God will supply all your need, according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
19 And (AD)my God will supply (o)all your needs according to His (AE)riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
19 And my God will fully supply your every need according to his glorious riches in the Messiah Jesus.
