As for the poor, he is hated among all his brethren; yea, his own friends forsake him, and he that giveth credence unto words, getteth nothing.

And thou Israel, my servant; Jacob, my elect seed of Abraham my beloved,

Thus sayeth the LORD unto you, "What unfaithfulness found your fathers in me, that they went so far away from me, falling to lightness, and being so vain?

Thou shalt no more see the day of thy brother; thou shalt no more behold the time of his captivity; thou shalt no more rejoice over the children of Judah, in the day of their destruction; thou shalt triumph no more in the time of their trouble.
