All About Life

¹⁴ Blessed is the one who is always cautious, but whoever hardens his heart will fall into evil. ¹⁵ Like a roaring lion or a roving bear, so is a wicked ruler over a poor people. ¹⁶ The prince who is a great oppressor lacks wisdom, but the one who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.

Like a Roaring Lion

Matthew 2:16

When Herod saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, he became enraged. He sent men to kill all the children in Bethlehem and throughout the surrounding region from the age of two and under, according to the time he had learned from the wise men.

1 Peter 5:8

Be sober and alert. Your enemy the devil, like a roaring lion, is on the prowl looking for someone to devour.

Exodus 1:22

Proverbs 17:12

It is better for a person to meet a mother bear being robbed of her cubs, than to encounter a fool in his folly.
