{To the Chanter, of David, servant of the Lord, which said unto the Lord the words of this song, on the day in which the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul, and said} I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.

O look thou upon me, and be merciful, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the mind, and with all the soul, and with all the strength. And to love a man's neighbor as himself, is a greater thing than all burnt offerings and sacrifices."

He said unto him the third time, "Simon the son of Jonas, lovest thou me?" And Peter sorrowed because he said to him the third time, "Lovest thou me," and said unto him, "Lord, thou knowest all things, thou knowest that I love thee." Jesus said unto him, "Feed my sheep.

We love him, because he loved us first.

In this we know that we love the sons of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

In my trouble I will call upon the LORD, and complain unto my God. So he shall hear my voice out of his holy temple, and my complaint shall come before him: it shall enter even into his ears. {TYNDALE: In my tribulation I called to the LORD, and cried to my God. And when I made haste, I said, "I am cast out of the sight of thine eyes." Nevertheless, thou heardest the voice of my prayer, when I cried unto thee.

O praise the LORD with me, and let us magnify his name together.

But God hath heard me; and considered the voice of my prayer.

For the LORD heareth the poor, and despiseth not his prisoners.

Then said Jacob unto his household, and to all that were with him, "Put away the strange gods that are among you and make yourselves clean, and change your garments,

and then she said, "Oh my lord, as truly as thy soul liveth my lord, I am the woman that stood by thee here, praying unto the LORD.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name. Ask and ye shall receive it: that our joy may be full.
