The Refuge Of The Righteous

11 Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my groaning.

11 {To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.} Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.

11 Listen to my words, Lord; consider my sighing.

11 LORD, listen to my words, consider my groaning.

11 Listen to my words, O Lord, give heed to my sighing and groaning.

22 Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God, For to You I pray.

22 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.

22 Pay attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for I pray to You.

22 Pay attention to my cry for help, my king and my God, for unto you will I pray.

22 Hear the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to You do I pray.

33 In the morning, O LORD, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will order my prayer to You and eagerly watch.

33 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

33 At daybreak, Lord, You hear my voice; at daybreak I plead my case to You and watch expectantly.

33 LORD, in the morning you will hear my voice; in the morning I will pray to you, and I will watch for your answer.

33 In the morning You hear my voice, O Lord; in the morning I prepare [a prayer, a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].

44 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.

44 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

44 For You are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil cannot lodge with You.

44 Indeed, you aren't a God who delights in wickedness; evil will never dwell with you.

44 For You are not a God Who takes pleasure in wickedness; neither will the evil [man] so much as dwell [temporarily] with You.

55 The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.

55 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

55 The boastful cannot stand in Your presence; You hate all evildoers.

55 Boastful ones will not stand before you; you hate all those who practice wickedness.

55 Boasters can have no standing in Your sight; You abhor all evildoers.

66 You destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.

66 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

66 You destroy those who tell lies; the Lord abhors a man of bloodshed and treachery.

66 You will destroy those who speak lies. The LORD abhors the person of bloodshed and deceit.

66 You will destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors [and rejects] the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

77 But as for me, by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house, At Your holy temple I will bow in reverence for You.

77 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

77 But I enter Your house by the abundance of Your faithful love; I bow down toward Your holy temple in reverential awe of You.

77 But I, because of the abundance of your gracious love, may come into your house. In awe of you, I will worship in your holy Temple.

77 But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and mercy; I will worship toward and at Your holy temple in reverent fear and awe of You.

88 O LORD, lead me in Your righteousness because of my foes; Make Your way straight before me.

88 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

88 Lord, lead me in Your righteousness, because of my adversaries; make Your way straight before me.

88 LORD, lead me in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your path straight before me.

88 Lead me, O Lord, in Your righteousness because of my enemies; make Your way level (straight and right) before my face.

99 There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction itself Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.

99 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

99 For there is nothing reliable in what they say; destruction is within them; their throat is an open grave; they flatter with their tongues.

99 But as for the wicked, they do not speak truth at all. Inside them there is only wickedness. Their throat is an open grave, on their tongue is deceitful flattery.

99 For there is nothing trustworthy or steadfast or truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction [or a destructive chasm, a yawning gulf]; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue.

1010 Hold them guilty, O God; By their own devices let them fall! In the multitude of their transgressions thrust them out, For they are rebellious against You.

1010 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

1010 Punish them, God; let them fall by their own schemes. Drive them out because of their many crimes, for they rebel against You.

1010 Declare them guilty, God! Let them fall by their own schemes. Drive them away because of their many transgressions, for they have rebelled against you.

1010 Hold them guilty, O God; let them fall by their own designs and counsels; cast them out because of the multitude of their transgressions, for they have rebelled against You.

1111 But let all who take refuge in You be glad, Let them ever sing for joy; And may You shelter them, That those who love Your name may exult in You.

1111 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

1111 But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them shout for joy forever. May You shelter them, and may those who love Your name boast about You.

1111 Let all those who take refuge in you rejoice! Let them shout for joy forever, and may you protect them. Let those who love your name exult in you.

1111 But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.

1212 For it is You who blesses the righteous man, O LORD, You surround him with favor as with a shield.

1212 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

1212 For You, Lord, bless the righteous one; You surround him with favor like a shield.

1212 Indeed, you will bless the righteous one, LORD, like a large shield, you will surround him with favor. To the Director: With stringed instruments. On an eight-stringed harp. A Davidic Psalm

1212 For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor).
