2 Pay attention to my cry for help, my king and my God, for unto you will I pray.

3 In the morning, O Lord, You will hear my voice; In the morning I will prepare [a prayer and a sacrifice] for You and watch and wait [for You to speak to my heart].

3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

3 In the morning, O Lord, (c)You will hear my voice; In the (E)morning I will order my (d)prayer to You and eagerly (F)watch.

3 At daybreak,(D) Lord, You hear my voice;at daybreak I plead my case to You(E) and watch expectantly.

3 LORD, in the morning you will hear my voice; in the morning I will pray to you, and I will watch for your answer.

4 For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil [person] dwells with You.

4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

4 For You are not a God (G)who takes pleasure in wickedness;(H)No evil (e)dwells with You.

4 For You are not a God who delights in wickedness;evil cannot dwell with You.(F)

4 Indeed, you aren't a God who delights in wickedness; evil will never dwell with you.

5 The boastful and the arrogant will not stand in Your sight; You hate all who do evil.

5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

5 The (I)boastful shall not (J)stand before Your eyes; You (K)hate all who do iniquity.

5 The boastful cannot stand in Your presence;(G)You hate all evildoers.(H)

5 Boastful ones will not stand before you; you hate all those who practice wickedness.

6 You destroy those who tell lies; The Lord detests and rejects the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.

6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

6 You (L)destroy those who speak falsehood; The Lord abhors (M)the man of bloodshed and deceit.

6 You destroy those who tell lies;(I)the Lord abhors a man of bloodshed and treachery.(J)

6 You will destroy those who speak lies. The LORD abhors the person of bloodshed and deceit.

7 But as for me, I will enter Your house through the abundance of Your steadfast love and tender mercy; At Your holy temple I will bow [obediently] in reverence for You.

7 But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.

7 But as for me, (N)by Your abundant lovingkindness I will enter Your house,(f)At Your holy temple I will (O)bow in (P)reverence for You.

7 But I enter Your houseby the abundance of Your faithful love;(K)I bow down toward Your holy templein reverential awe of You.(L)

7 But I, because of the abundance of your gracious love, may come into your house. In awe of you, I will worship in your holy Temple.

8 O Lord, lead me in Your righteousness because of my enemies;Make Your way straight (direct, right) before me.

8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

8 O Lord, (Q)lead me (R)in Your righteousness (S)because of (g)my foes;Make Your way (h)straight before me.

8 Lord, lead me in Your righteousness(M)because of my adversaries;(a)make Your way straight before me.(N)

8 LORD, lead me in your righteousness because of my enemies. Make your path straight before me.

9 For there is nothing trustworthy or reliable or truthful in what they say;Their heart is destruction [just a treacherous chasm, a yawning gulf of lies].Their throat is an open grave; They [glibly] flatter with their [silken] tongue.(A)

9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

9 There is (T)nothing (i)reliable in (j)what they say;Their (U)inward part is destruction itself.Their (V)throat is an open grave;They (k)flatter with their tongue.

9 For there is nothing reliable in what they say;(b)(O)destruction is within them;their throat is an open grave;they flatter with their tongues.(P)

9 But as for the wicked, they do not speak truth at all. Inside them there is only wickedness. Their throat is an open grave, on their tongue is deceitful flattery.

10 Hold them guilty, O God;Let them fall by their own designs and councils!Cast them out because of the abundance of their transgressions,For they are mutinous and have rebelled against You.

10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.

10 Hold them guilty, O God;(W)By their own devices let them fall!In the multitude of their transgressions (X)thrust them out,For they are (Y)rebellious against You.

10 Punish them, God;let them fall by their own schemes.(Q)Drive them out(R) because of their many crimes, for they rebel against You.(S)

10 Declare them guilty, God! Let them fall by their own schemes. Drive them away because of their many transgressions, for they have rebelled against you.

11 But let all who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice,Let them ever sing for joy;Because You cover and shelter them,Let those who love Your name be joyful and exult in You.

11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

11 But let all who (Z)take refuge in You (AA)be glad,Let them ever sing for joy;And (l)may You (AB)shelter them,That those who (AC)love Your name may exult in You.

11 But let all who take refuge in You rejoice;(T)let them shout for joy forever.May You shelter them,(U)and may those who love Your name boast about You.(V)

11 Let all those who take refuge in you rejoice! Let them shout for joy forever, and may you protect them. Let those who love your name exult in you.

12 For You, O Lord, bless the righteous man [the one who is in right standing with You];You surround him with favor as with a shield.

12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

12 For it is You who (AD)blesses the righteous man, O Lord,You (AE)surround him with favor as with a shield.

12 For You, Lord, bless the righteous one;You surround him with favor like a shield.(W)

12 Indeed, you will bless the righteous one, LORD, like a large shield, you will surround him with favor. To the Director: With stringed instruments. On an eight-stringed harp. A Davidic Psalm
