Perplexity About God's Promises

³¹ if they profane My Precepts, and do not keep My Commandments; ³² then I will visit their wickedness with the rod, and their sin with stripes. ³³ But I will not completely take My loving-kindness from him, and I will not be false in My faithfulness.

Sin

2 Samuel 7:14

I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men.
