God's Love And Faithfulness

11 It is good to give thanks to the LORD And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;

11 {A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day.} It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High:

11 It is good to praise the Lord, to sing praise to Your name, Most High,

11 It is good to give thanks to the LORD and to sing praise to your name, Most High;

11 It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises [with musical accompaniment] to Your name, O Most High,

22 To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning And Your faithfulness by night,

22 To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,

22 to declare Your faithful love in the morning and Your faithfulness at night,

22 to proclaim your gracious love in the morning and your faithfulness at night,

22 To show forth Your loving-kindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night,

33 With the ten-stringed lute and with the harp, With resounding music upon the lyre.

33 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

33 with a ten-stringed harp and the music of a lyre.

33 accompanied by a ten-stringed instrument and a lyre, and the contemplative sound of a harp.

33 With an instrument of ten strings and with the lute, with a solemn sound upon the lyre.

44 For You, O LORD, have made me glad by what You have done, I will sing for joy at the works of Your hands.

44 For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands.

44 For You have made me rejoice, Lord, by what You have done; I will shout for joy because of the works of Your hands.

44 Because you made me glad with your awesome deeds, LORD, I will sing for joy at the works of your hands.

44 For You, O Lord, have made me glad by Your works; at the deeds of Your hands I joyfully sing.

55 How great are Your works, O LORD! Your thoughts are very deep.

55 O LORD, how great are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep.

55 How magnificent are Your works, Lord, how profound Your thoughts!

55 How great are your works, LORD! Your thoughts are unfathomable.

55 How great are Your doings, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep.

66 A senseless man has no knowledge, Nor does a stupid man understand this:

66 A brutish man knoweth not; neither doth a fool understand this.

66 A stupid person does not know, a fool does not understand this:

66 A stupid man doesn't know, and a fool can't comprehend this:

66 A man in his rude and uncultivated state knows not, neither does a [self-confident] fool understand this:

77 That when the wicked sprouted up like grass And all who did iniquity flourished, It was only that they might be destroyed forevermore.

77 When the wicked spring as the grass, and when all the workers of iniquity do flourish; it is that they shall be destroyed for ever:

77 though the wicked sprout like grass and all evildoers flourish, they will be eternally destroyed.

77 Though the wicked sprout like grass; and all who practice iniquity flourish, it is they who will be eternally destroyed.

77 That though the wicked spring up like grass and all evildoers flourish, they are doomed to be destroyed forever.

88 But You, O LORD, are on high forever.

88 But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.

88 But You, Lord, are exalted forever.

88 But you are exalted forever, LORD.

88 But You, Lord, are on high forever.

99 For, behold, Your enemies, O LORD, For, behold, Your enemies will perish; All who do iniquity will be scattered.

99 For, lo, thine enemies, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies shall perish; all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.

99 For indeed, Lord, Your enemies- indeed, Your enemies will perish; all evildoers will be scattered.

99 Look at your enemies, LORD! Look at your enemies, for they are destroyed; everyone who practices iniquity will be scattered.

99 For behold, Your adversaries, O Lord, for behold, Your enemies shall perish; all the evildoers shall be scattered.

1010 But You have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox; I have been anointed with fresh oil.

1010 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

1010 You have lifted up my horn like that of a wild ox; I have been anointed with oil.

1010 You've grown my strength like the horn of a wild ox; I was anointed with fresh oil.

1010 But my horn (emblem of excessive strength and stately grace) You have exalted like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil.

1111 And my eye has looked exultantly upon my foes, My ears hear of the evildoers who rise up against me.

1111 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

1111 My eyes look down on my enemies; my ears hear evildoers when they attack me.

1111 My eyes gloated over those who lie in wait for me; when those of evil intent attack me, my ears will hear.

1111 My eye looks upon those who lie in wait for me; my ears hear the evildoers that rise up against me.

1212 The righteous man will flourish like the palm tree, He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

1212 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

1212 The righteous thrive like a palm tree and grow like a cedar tree in Lebanon.

1212 The righteous will flourish like palm trees; they will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

1212 The [uncompromisingly] righteous shall flourish like the palm tree [be long-lived, stately, upright, useful, and fruitful]; they shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon [majestic, stable, durable, and incorruptible].

1313 Planted in the house of the LORD, They will flourish in the courts of our God.

1313 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

1313 Planted in the house of the Lord, they thrive in the courtyards of our God.

1313 Planted in the LORD's Temple, they will flourish in the courtyard of our God.

1313 Planted in the house of the Lord, they shall flourish in the courts of our God.

1414 They will still yield fruit in old age; They shall be full of sap and very green,

1414 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;

1414 They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green,

1414 They will still bear fruit even in old age; they will be luxuriant and green.

1414 [Growing in grace] they shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap [of spiritual vitality] and [rich in the] verdure [of trust, love, and contentment].

1515 To declare that the LORD is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

1515 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

1515 to declare: "The Lord is just; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him."

1515 They will proclaim: "The LORD is upright; my rock, in whom there is no injustice."

1515 [They are living memorials] to show that the Lord is upright and faithful to His promises; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.
