The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
The seven golden
Jesus answered them, “ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been granted.
And He said,
“ To you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is in parables, so that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.
The seven stars
in the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across His chest with a golden sash.
“To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: The One who holds
the seven stars in His right hand, the One who walks among the seven golden lampstands, says this:
“To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this: ‘ I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead.
For the lips of a priest should preserve
knowledge, and men should seek instruction from his mouth; for he is the messenger of the Lord of hosts.
The seven golden
Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking with me. And having turned I saw
seven golden lampstands;
He made its seven lamps with its snuffers and its
trays of pure gold.
Then he placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting, opposite the table, on the south side of the tabernacle.
Then they shall take a
blue cloth and cover the lampstand for the light, along with its lamps and its snuffers, and its trays and all its oil vessels, by which they serve it;
“Speak to Aaron and say to him, ‘When you
mount the lamps, the seven lamps will give light in the front of the lampstand.’”
