The First Beast From The Sea

⁵ It was allowed to utter great boasts and blasphemies, and to exert authority for forty-two months. ⁶ It opened its mouth in blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling-place, that is, those who live in heaven. ⁷ It was allowed to make war on God's people and to conquer them, and it was given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation.
