The Heavenly Throne

¹ At another time I had a vision, when I saw a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard talking to me, was like the sound of a trumpet; which said, "come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter." ² Immediately I was in an extasy: and I saw a throne placed in heaven, and one sitting on the throne. ³ he that sat, appear'd to the sight, like a jasper, and a sardine stone: and there was an arch like a rain-bow, round about the throne, which had the appearance of an emerald.
