Of faith

being justified freely by his grace (as a gift) through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

We are justified (acquitted) (made righteous) by faith. And we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

You know that those who have faith are sons of Abraham.

even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ. For by grace (loving-kindness) you have been saved.

Being justified by his grace (loving kindness), we might be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

The promise

When God made a promise to Abraham, he could swear by no one greater then himself, so he swore by himself.

Brothers, be more diligent to make your calling and election (choosing) sure. If you do (practice) (exercise) (apply) these things, you will never stumble!

But to

He received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith that he had while he was not circumcised. That way he could be the father of all those who believe, though they are not circumcised, that righteousness might be counted to them.

The father

That is, the children of the flesh are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as seed.

Look to Abraham, your father, and to Sarah, who gave you birth. When I called him he was only one. I blessed him and made him many.

So then those who have faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

Brothers, we are children who belong to the promise, the same as Isaac was.
