And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
Who will separate us from
the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
“Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are you when men hate you, and ostracize you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, for the sake of the Son of Man.
So they went on their way from the presence of the
Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.
2 Corinthians 11:23
servants of Christ?—I speak as if insane—I more so; in far more labors, in far more imprisonments, beaten times without number, often in danger of death.
2 Corinthians 12:9
And He has said to me,
“My grace is sufficient for you, for Most gladly, therefore, I will rather power is perfected in weakness.” boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
Therefore I ask
you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory.
For to you
it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake,
But even if I am being
poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and share my joy with you all.
Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
1 Peter 3:14
But even if you should
suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be troubled,

but if anyone suffers as a
Christian, he is not to be ashamed, but is to glorify God in this name.
2 Corinthians 4:17
light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison,
For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good,
so that we may share His holiness.
