blameless in Your statutes,

So that I will not be ashamed.

Let the righteous smite me in kindness and reprove me;
It is oil upon the head;
Do not let my head refuse it,

For still my prayer is against their wicked deeds.

For though I caused you sorrow by my letter, I do not regret it; though I did regret it—for I see that that letter caused you sorrow, though only for a while—

In pointing out these things to the brethren, you will be a good servant of Christ Jesus, constantly nourished on the words of the faith and of the

sound doctrine which you have been following.
