12 Even one of their own prophets said, "The people of Crete are always liars, vicious beasts and lazy gluttons." 13 [And] this testimony is true. [So], for this reason you should rebuke them severely, so that they will be sound in the faith, 14 instead of paying attention to Jewish myths and commandments of men who reject the truth.
