who must be silenced because they are upsetting
whole families, teaching things they should not teach for the sake of sordid gain.
“Since we have heard that
some of our number to whom we gave no instruction have disturbed you with their words, unsettling your souls,
1 Timothy 1:19
faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith.
2 Timothy 2:14
Remind them of these things, and solemnly
charge them in the presence of God not to wrangle about words, which is useless and leads to the ruin of the hearers.
For if we go on
sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
“But his master answered and said to him, ‘You wicked, lazy slave, you knew that I reap where I did not sow and gather where I scattered no seed.
But the Pharisees and the
lawyers rejected God’s purpose for themselves, not having been baptized by John.

He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, “It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you
first; since you repudiate it and judge yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
Now we know that whatever the
Law says, it speaks to those who are under the Law, so that every mouth may be closed and all the world may become accountable to God;
