Treasury of Scripture Knowledge

All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.

Timotheus my collegue, Lucius, Jason, and Sosipater, my kinsmen, salute you.

I recommend to you Phebe our sister, who is a deaconess of the church at Kenchrea; receive her for Christ's sake,

for in the christian-dispensation, neither circumcision avails any thing, nor uncircumcision, but an active benevolent faith.

may our brethren have peace, social affection, and faith from God the father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

such a charge will produce that charity, which arises from purity, from a good conscience, and a sincere belief:

and thank my God for the account I have of your faith in the Lord Jesus and the love you bear to all the saints;

The PRESBYTER to the lady ECLECTA and her children, whom I sincerely love, and not only I, but all true christians,

The PRESBYTER to my dear Gaius, whom I truly love.
