of the fathers' [houses]

sanctify yourselves ､

אַתֶּ֣ם

､ וַאֲחֵיכֶ֔ם

wa·’ă·ḥê·ḵem,

and your brothers ､

וְהַֽעֲלִיתֶ֗ם

that you may bring up

and Nethanel ､

and Amasai ､

and Zechariah ､

and with the sound

of the horn ､

and with trumpets ､

､ וּבִמְצִלְתָּ֑יִם

and with cymbals ､

מַשְׁמִעִ֕ים

בִּנְבָלִ֖ים

with stringed instruments

. וְכִנֹּרֽוֹת׃

and harps .

､ וַיְהִ֗י

way·hî,

And it came to pass ､

[as] the ark

of the covenant

and saw

אֶת־

’eṯ-

הַמֶּ֤לֶךְ

ham·me·leḵ

דָּוִיד֙

dā·wîḏ

מְרַקֵּ֣ד

mə·raq·qêḏ

– וּמְשַׂחֵ֔ק

ū·mə·śa·ḥêq,

and playing music –

וַתִּ֥בֶז

wat·ti·ḇez

and she despised

ל֖וֹ

lōw
