וַיַּפִּילוּ֩
way·yap·pî·lū
And cast
גַם־
ḡam-
הֵ֨ם
hêm
גּוֹרָל֜וֹת
gō·w·rā·lō·wṯ
לְעֻמַּ֣ת ׀
lə·‘um·maṯ
just as
אֲחֵיהֶ֣ם
’ă·ḥê·hem
בְּנֵֽי־
bə·nê-
the sons
אַהֲרֹ֗ן
’a·hă·rōn,
לִפְנֵ֨י
lip̄·nê
in the presence
דָוִ֤יד
ḏā·wîḏ
､ הַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙
ham·me·leḵ
King ､
､ וְצָד֣וֹק
wə·ṣā·ḏō·wq
and Zadok ､
､ וַאֲחִימֶ֔לֶךְ
wa·’ă·ḥî·me·leḵ,
and Ahimelech ､
וְרָאשֵׁי֙
wə·rā·šê
and the heads
הָֽאָב֔וֹת
hā·’ā·ḇō·wṯ,
of the fathers' [houses]
לַכֹּהֲנִ֖ים
lak·kō·hă·nîm
of the priests
､ וְלַלְוִיִּ֑ם
wə·lal·wî·yim;
and Levites ､
אָב֣וֹת
’ā·ḇō·wṯ
הָרֹ֔אשׁ
hā·rōš,
the chief
לְעֻמַּ֖ת
lə·‘um·maṯ
just as
אָחִ֥יו
’ā·ḥîw
. הַקָּטָֽן׃
haq·qā·ṭān.
