וַיִּֽמְעֲל֔וּ
way·yim·‘ă·lū,
בֵּאלֹהֵ֖י
bê·lō·hê
to the God
､ אֲבוֹתֵיהֶ֑ם
’ă·ḇō·w·ṯê·hem;
of their fathers ､
וַיִּזְנ֗וּ
way·yiz·nū,
and played the harlot
אַחֲרֵי֙
’a·ḥă·rê
אֱלֹהֵ֣י
’ĕ·lō·hê
the gods
עַמֵּי־
‘am·mê-
of the peoples
､ הָאָ֔רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
of the land ､
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
הִשְׁמִ֥יד
hiš·mîḏ
אֱלֹהִ֖ים
’ĕ·lō·hîm
. מִפְּנֵיהֶֽם׃
mip·pə·nê·hem.
