וַיִּקְרָ֤א

מֶֽלֶךְ־

the king
יִשְׂרָאֵל֙
yiś·rā·’êl
לְכָל־
lə·ḵāl
זִקְנֵ֣י
ziq·nê
the elders
､ הָאָ֔רֶץ
hā·’ā·reṣ,
of the land ､
､ וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙
way·yō·mer
and said ､
､ דְּעֽוּ־
də·‘ū-
Notice ､
､ נָ֣א
nā
please ､
וּרְא֔וּ
ū·rə·’ū,
and see
כִּ֥י
kî
– רָעָ֖ה
rā·‘āh
זֶ֣ה
zeh
מְבַקֵּ֑שׁ
mə·ḇaq·qêš;
כִּֽי־
kî-
שָׁלַ֨ח
šā·laḥ
he sent
אֵלַ֜י
’ê·lay
to me
､ לְנָשַׁ֤י
lə·nā·šay
for my wives ､
､ וּלְבָנַי֙
ū·lə·ḇā·nay
and my children ､
､ וּלְכַסְפִּ֣י
ū·lə·ḵas·pî
and my silver ､
– וְלִזְהָבִ֔י
wə·liz·hā·ḇî,
and my gold –
וְלֹ֥א
wə·lō
and not
מָנַ֖עְתִּי
mā·na‘·tî
. מִמֶּֽנּוּ׃
mim·men·nū.
him .
