וַיְהִ֣י

And it came to pass
､ הַיּ֗וֹם
hay·yō·wm,
one day ､
וַיֹּ֨אמֶר
way·yō·mer
יוֹנָתָ֤ן
yō·w·nā·ṯān
בֶּן־
ben-
שָׁאוּל֙
šā·’ūl
of Saul
אֶל־
’el-
to
הַנַּ֙עַר֙
han·na·‘ar
נֹשֵׂ֣א
nō·śê
､ כֵלָ֔יו
ḵê·lāw,
､ לְכָ֗ה
lə·ḵāh,
come ､
וְנַעְבְּרָה֙
wə·na‘·bə·rāh
and let us go over
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ מַצַּ֣ב
maṣ·ṣaḇ
the garrison ､
פְּלִשְׁתִּ֔ים
pə·liš·tîm,
אֲשֶׁ֖ר
’ă·šer
that [is]
מֵעֵ֣בֶר
mê·‘ê·ḇer
הַלָּ֑ז
hal·lāz;
וּלְאָבִ֖יו
ū·lə·’ā·ḇîw
לֹ֥א
lō
not
. הִגִּֽיד׃
hig·gîḏ.
he did tell .
