､ וַתּ֥וֹסֶף
wat·tō·w·sep̄
And there was again ､
הַמִּלְחָמָ֖ה
ham·mil·ḥā·māh
לִֽהְי֑וֹת
lih·yō·wṯ;
､ וַיֵּצֵ֨א
way·yê·ṣê
and went out ､
דָוִ֜ד
ḏā·wiḏ
וַיִּלָּ֣חֶם
way·yil·lā·ḥem
and fought
､ בַּפְּלִשְׁתִּ֗ים
bap·pə·liš·tîm,
with the Philistines ､
וַיַּ֤ךְ
way·yaḵ
and struck
בָּהֶם֙
bā·hem
– מַכָּ֣ה
mak·kāh
with a blow –
גְדוֹלָ֔ה
ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh,
וַיָּנֻ֖סוּ
way·yā·nu·sū
. מִפָּנָֽיו׃
mip·pā·nāw.
