וַיַּ֞ךְ
way·yaḵ
And He struck
בְּאַנְשֵׁ֣י
bə·’an·šê
the men
בֵֽית־
ḇêṯ-
of
､ שֶׁ֗מֶשׁ
še·meš,
כִּ֤י
kî
רָאוּ֙
rā·’ū
בַּאֲר֣וֹן
ba·’ă·rō·wn
into the ark
､ יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
of Yahweh ､
וַיַּ֤ךְ
way·yaḵ
and He struck
בָּעָם֙
bā·‘ām
of the people
שִׁבְעִ֣ים
šiḇ·‘îm
[and] seventy
אִ֔ישׁ
’îš,
חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים
ḥă·miš·šîm
אֶ֖לֶף
’e·lep̄
､ אִ֑ישׁ
’îš;
men ､
､ וַיִּֽתְאַבְּל֣וּ
way·yiṯ·’ab·bə·lū
and lamented ､
הָעָ֔ם
hā·‘ām,
the people
כִּֽי־
kî-
הִכָּ֧ה
hik·kāh
יְהוָ֛ה
Yah·weh
בָּעָ֖ם
bā·‘ām
the people
מַכָּ֥ה
mak·kāh
with a slaughter
. גְדוֹלָֽה‪‬
ḡə·ḏō·w·lāh
