וַיִּרְדְּפ֤וּ

חֵיל־

the army
כַּשְׂדִּים֙
kaś·dîm
of the Chaldeans
אַחַ֣ר
’a·ḥar
､ הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ
ham·me·leḵ,
the king ､
וַיַּשִּׂ֥גוּ
way·yaś·śi·ḡū
אֹת֖וֹ
’ō·ṯōw
בְּעַרְב֣וֹת
bə·‘ar·ḇō·wṯ
in the plains
– יְרֵח֑וֹ
yə·rê·ḥōw;
of Jericho –
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
חֵיל֔וֹ
ḥê·lōw,
נָפֹ֖צוּ
nā·p̄ō·ṣū
. מֵעָלָֽיו׃
mê·‘ā·lāw.
