､ וַֽיִּסְפְּדוּ֙
way·yis·pə·ḏū
And they mourned ､
､ וַיִּבְכּ֔וּ
way·yiḇ·kū,
and wept ､
וַיָּצֻ֖מוּ
way·yā·ṣu·mū
and fasted
עַד־
‘aḏ-
､ הָעָ֑רֶב
hā·‘ā·reḇ;
עַל־
‘al-
､ שָׁא֞וּל
šā·’ūl
Saul ､
וְעַל־
wə·‘al-
יְהוֹנָתָ֣ן
yə·hō·w·nā·ṯān
､ בְּנ֗וֹ
bə·nōw,
his son ､
וְעַל־
wə·‘al-
עַ֤ם
‘am
the people
יְהוָה֙
Yah·weh
וְעַל־
wə·‘al-
בֵּ֣ית
bêṯ
the house
– יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל
yiś·rā·’êl,
of Israel –
כִּ֥י
kî
נָפְל֖וּ
nā·p̄ə·lū
. בֶּחָֽרֶב׃
be·ḥā·reḇ.
by the sword .
