of Moab ､

､ אַרְבָּעָ֖ה

אֲשִׁיבֶ֑נּוּ

עַל־
‘al-
שָׂרְפ֛וֹ

עַצְמ֥וֹת

the bones
מֶֽלֶךְ־
me·leḵ-
of the king
אֱד֖וֹם
’ĕ·ḏō·wm
of Edom
. לַשִּֽׂיד׃

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּי־
wə·šil·laḥ·tî-
But I will send
אֵ֣שׁ
’êš
､ בְּמוֹאָ֔ב
bə·mō·w·’āḇ,
וְאָכְלָ֖ה
wə·’ā·ḵə·lāh
and it shall devour
אַרְמְנ֣וֹת
’ar·mə·nō·wṯ
– הַקְּרִיּ֑וֹת
haq·qə·rî·yō·wṯ;
of Kerioth –
וּמֵ֤ת
ū·mêṯ
､ בְּשָׁאוֹן֙
bə·šā·’ō·wn
with tumult ､
מוֹאָ֔ב
mō·w·’āḇ,
､ בִּתְרוּעָ֖ה
biṯ·rū·‘āh
with shouting ､
בְּק֥וֹל
bə·qō·wl
[and] sound
. שׁוֹפָֽר׃
šō·w·p̄ār.

וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י
wə·hiḵ·rat·tî
And I will cut off
שׁוֹפֵ֖ט
šō·w·p̄êṭ
the judge
מִקִּרְבָּ֑הּ
miq·qir·bāh;
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
שָׂרֶ֛יהָ
śā·re·hā
אֶהֱר֥וֹג
’e·hĕ·rō·wḡ
עִמּ֖וֹ
‘im·mōw
with him
אָמַ֥ר
’ā·mar
. יְהוָֽה׃

and lead them astray ､
כִּזְבֵיהֶ֔ם

אֲשֶׁר־

הָלְכ֥וּ

אֲבוֹתָ֖ם
’ă·ḇō·w·ṯām
. אַחֲרֵיהֶֽם׃
’a·ḥă·rê·hem.

וְשִׁלַּ֥חְתִּי
wə·šil·laḥ·tî
But I will send
אֵ֖שׁ
’êš
､ בִּֽיהוּדָ֑ה
bî·hū·ḏāh;
וְאָכְלָ֖ה
wə·’ā·ḵə·lāh
and it shall devour
אַרְמְנ֥וֹת
’ar·mə·nō·wṯ
. יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

and the poor
בַּעֲב֥וּר

the dust
אֶ֙רֶץ֙

of the earth
בְּרֹ֣אשׁ

[which is] on the head
､ דַּלִּ֔ים
dal·lîm,
of the poor ､
וְדֶ֥רֶךְ
wə·ḏe·reḵ
and the way
– עֲנָוִ֖ים
‘ă·nā·wîm
of the humble –
יַטּ֑וּ
yaṭ·ṭū;
וְאִ֣ישׁ

and a man
וְאָבִ֗יו

יֵֽלְכוּ֙

by
כָּל־

､ מִזְבֵּ֑חַ
miz·bê·aḥ;
altar ､
וְיֵ֤ין
wə·yên
and the wine
עֲנוּשִׁים֙
‘ă·nū·šîm
of the condemned
יִשְׁתּ֔וּ
yiš·tū,
בֵּ֖ית
bêṯ
[in] the house
. אֱלֹהֵיהֶֽם׃

of their god .

And yet [it was] I
הִשְׁמַ֤דְתִּי
hiš·maḏ·tî
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
הָֽאֱמֹרִי֙
hā·’ĕ·mō·rî
מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם
mip·pə·nê·hem,
אֲשֶׁ֨ר
’ă·šer
כְּגֹ֤בַהּ
kə·ḡō·ḇah
､ אֲרָזִים֙
’ă·rā·zîm
the cedars ､
גָּבְה֔וֹ
gā·ḇə·hōw,
the height
וְחָסֹ֥ן
wə·ḥā·sōn
and [as] strong
ה֖וּא
hū
he [was]
– כָּֽאַלּוֹנִ֑ים
kā·’al·lō·w·nîm;
as the oaks –
וָאַשְׁמִ֤יד
wā·’aš·mîḏ
פִּרְיוֹ֙
pir·yōw
､ מִמַּ֔עַל
mim·ma·‘al,
above ､
וְשָׁרָשָׁ֖יו
wə·šā·rā·šāw
. מִתָּֽחַת׃
mit·tā·ḥaṯ.

וְאָנֹכִ֛י
wə·’ā·nō·ḵî
And [it was] I
הֶעֱלֵ֥יתִי
he·‘ĕ·lê·ṯî
אֶתְכֶ֖ם
’eṯ·ḵem
מֵאֶ֣רֶץ
mê·’e·reṣ
､ מִצְרָ֑יִם
miṣ·rā·yim;
of Egypt ､
וָאוֹלֵ֨ךְ
wā·’ō·w·lêḵ
and led
אֶתְכֶ֤ם
’eṯ·ḵem
､ בַּמִּדְבָּר֙
bam·miḏ·bār
אַרְבָּעִ֣ים
’ar·bā·‘îm
שָׁנָ֔ה
šā·nāh,
לָרֶ֖שֶׁת
lā·re·šeṯ
אֶת־
’eṯ-

אֶ֥רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land
. הָאֱמֹרִֽי׃

of the Amorite .

וָאָקִ֤ים

And I raised up
מִבְּנֵיכֶם֙
mib·bə·nê·ḵem
､ לִנְבִיאִ֔ים
lin·ḇî·’îm,
as prophets ､
וּמִבַּחוּרֵיכֶ֖ם
ū·mib·ba·ḥū·rê·ḵem
. לִנְזִרִ֑ים
lin·zi·rîm;
הַאַ֥ף
ha·’ap̄

אֵֽין־
’ên-
[it] not
､ זֹ֛את

this ､
בְּנֵ֥י

؟ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

– וַתַּשְׁק֥וּ

But you gave to drink –
אֶת־
’eṯ-

הַנְּזִרִ֖ים
han·nə·zi·rîm
יָ֑יִן
yā·yin;
וְעַל־
wə·‘al-
and
､ הַנְּבִיאִים֙
han·nə·ḇî·’îm
the prophets ､
צִוִּיתֶ֣ם
ṣiw·wî·ṯem
､ לֵאמֹ֔ר
lê·mōr,
saying ､
לֹ֖א
lō
not
. תִּנָּבְאֽוּ׃
tin·nā·ḇə·’ū.

､ הִנֵּ֛ה

Behold ､
אָנֹכִ֥י

I
מֵעִ֖יק
mê·‘îq
תַּחְתֵּיכֶ֑ם
taḥ·tê·ḵem;
by you
כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר

as
תָּעִיק֙
tā·‘îq
הָעֲגָלָ֔ה
hā·‘ă·ḡā·lāh,
הַֽמְלֵאָ֥ה
ham·lê·’āh
לָ֖הּ

וְאָבַ֤ד

מָנוֹס֙

､ מִקָּ֔ל

from the swift ､

and the strong

יְאַמֵּ֣ץ

､ כֹּח֑וֹ

וְגִבּ֖וֹר

and the mighty

and the swift
בְּרַגְלָ֖יו

of foot

and he who rides
הַסּ֔וּס
