הַמִּשְׁפָּחָ֔ה

ham·miš·pā·ḥāh,

אֲשֶׁ֧ר

’ă·šer

הֶעֱלֵ֛יתִי

he·‘ĕ·lê·ṯî

מֵאֶ֥רֶץ

mê·’e·reṣ

､ מִצְרַ֖יִם

miṣ·ra·yim

of Egypt ､

､ לֵאמֹֽר׃

– הָאֲדָמָ֑ה

of the earth –

עַל־

‘al-

כֵּן֙

אֶפְקֹ֣ד

’ep̄·qōḏ

I will punish

עֲלֵיכֶ֔ם

‘ă·lê·ḵem,

אֵ֖ת

’êṯ

כָּל־

kāl-

. עֲוֺנֹֽתֵיכֶֽם׃

‘ă·wō·nō·ṯê·ḵem.

your iniquities .

הֲיֵלְכ֥וּ

hă·yê·lə·ḵū

שְׁנַ֖יִם

šə·na·yim

､ יַחְדָּ֑ו

yaḥ·dāw;

בִּלְתִּ֖י

bil·tî

אִם־

’im-

؟ נוֹעָֽדוּ׃

nō·w·‘ā·ḏū.

they are agreed ؟

הֲיִשְׁאַ֤ג

hă·yiš·’aḡ

will roar

אַרְיֵה֙

’ar·yêh

､ בַּיַּ֔עַר

bay·ya·‘ar,

in the forest ､

؟ וְטֶ֖רֶף

wə·ṭe·rep̄

and when prey ؟

אֵ֣ין

’ên

no

ל֑וֹ

lōw;

he has

הֲיִתֵּ֨ן

hă·yit·tên

will

כְּפִ֤יר

kə·p̄îr

קוֹלוֹ֙

qō·w·lōw

､ מִמְּעֹ֣נָת֔וֹ

mim·mə·‘ō·nā·ṯōw,

of his den ､

؟ בִּלְתִּ֖י

bil·tî

אִם־

’im-

if

. לָכָֽד׃

lā·ḵāḏ.

he has caught .

הֲתִפֹּ֤ל

hă·ṯip·pōl

Will fall

צִפּוֹר֙

ṣip·pō·wr

עַל־

‘al-

פַּ֣ח

paḥ

､ הָאָ֔רֶץ

hā·’ā·reṣ,

on the earth ､

וּמוֹקֵ֖שׁ

ū·mō·w·qêš

and trap

אֵ֣ין

’ên

where there is no

לָ֑הּ

lāh;

for it

הֲיַֽעֲלֶה־

hă·ya·‘ă·leh-

will spring up

מִן־

min-

､ הָ֣אֲדָמָ֔ה

hā·’ă·ḏā·māh,

the earth ､

؟ וְלָכ֖וֹד

wə·lā·ḵō·wḏ

and at all ؟

לֹ֥א

. יִלְכּֽוֹד׃

yil·kō·wḏ.

if it has caught .

אִם־

יִתָּקַ֤ע

yit·tā·qa‘

שׁוֹפָר֙

､ בְּעִ֔יר

bə·‘îr,

in the city ､

וְעָ֖ם

wə·‘ām

and the people

לֹ֣א

not

؟ יֶחֱרָ֑דוּ

ye·ḥĕ·rā·ḏū;

will be afraid ؟

אִם־

’im-

if

תִּהְיֶ֤ה

רָעָה֙

rā·‘āh

､ בְּעִ֔יר

bə·‘îr,

in a city ､

וַיהוָ֖ה

לֹ֥א

. עָשָֽׂה׃

will have done [it] .

､ בְּאַשְׁדּ֔וֹד

at Ashdod ､

וְעַֽל־

and in

אַרְמְנ֖וֹת

’ar·mə·nō·wṯ

בְּאֶ֣רֶץ

bə·’e·reṣ

in the land

､ מִצְרָ֑יִם

miṣ·rā·yim;

of Egypt ､

､ וְאִמְר֗וּ

wə·’im·rū,

and say ､

הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙

hê·’ā·sə·p̄ū

עַל־

‘al-

on

הָרֵ֣י

hā·rê

､ שֹׁמְר֔וֹן

šō·mə·rō·wn,

of Samaria ､

וּרְא֞וּ

ū·rə·’ū

and See

מְהוּמֹ֤ת

mə·hū·mōṯ

רַבּוֹת֙

rab·bō·wṯ

בְּתוֹכָ֔הּ

bə·ṯō·w·ḵāh,

וַעֲשׁוּקִ֖ים

wa·‘ă·šū·qîm

and the oppressed

. בְּקִרְבָּֽהּ׃

bə·qir·bāh.

וְלֹֽא־

wə·lō-

For not

יָדְע֥וּ

עֲשׂוֹת־

‘ă·śō·wṯ-

to do

､ נְכֹחָ֖ה

､ יְהוָ֑ה

הָאֽוֹצְרִ֛ים

and He shall sap

מִמֵּךְ֙

עֻזֵּ֔ךְ

וְנָבֹ֖זּוּ

wə·nā·ḇōz·zū

and shall be plundered

. אַרְמְנוֹתָֽיִךְ׃

’ar·mə·nō·w·ṯā·yiḵ.

in the corner

of a bed ､

וּבִדְמֶ֥שֶׁק

and on the edge

וְהָעִ֖ידוּ

against the house

of Jacob ､

נְאֻם־

nə·’um-

אֲדֹנָ֥י

the Lord

､ יְהוִ֖ה

GOD ､

אֱלֹהֵ֥י

’ĕ·lō·hê

､ הַצְּבָאֽוֹת׃

haṣ·ṣə·ḇā·’ō·wṯ.

of the hosts ､

כִּ֗י

in the day

פָּקְדִ֥י

פִשְׁעֵֽי־

for transgressions

יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל

עָלָ֑יו

‘ā·lāw;

וּפָֽקַדְתִּי֙

ū·p̄ā·qaḏ·tî

and I will visit [destruction]

עַל־

‘al-

on

מִזְבְּח֣וֹת

miz·bə·ḥō·wṯ

בֵּֽית־

bêṯ-

of

– אֵ֔ל

’êl,

､ וְנִגְדְּעוּ֙

wə·niḡ·də·‘ū

and shall be cut off ､

קַרְנ֣וֹת

qar·nō·wṯ

הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ,

of the altar

וְנָפְל֖וּ

wə·nā·p̄ə·lū

and fall

. לָאָֽרֶץ׃

lā·’ā·reṣ.

to the ground .

וְהִכֵּיתִ֥י

wə·hik·kê·ṯî

And I will destroy

בֵית־

ḇêṯ-

הַחֹ֖רֶף

ha·ḥō·rep̄

עַל־

‘al-

along with

– בֵּ֣ית

bêṯ

הַקָּ֑יִץ

haq·qā·yiṣ;

､ וְאָבְד֞וּ

wə·’ā·ḇə·ḏū

and shall perish ､

בָּתֵּ֣י

bāt·tê

הַשֵּׁ֗ן

haš·šên,

､ וְסָפ֛וּ

wə·sā·p̄ū

and shall have an end ､

בָּתִּ֥ים

bāt·tîm

רַבִּ֖ים

rab·bîm

נְאֻם־

nə·’um-
